The Mom Game is a weekly vlogcast and lifestyle brand created by Julie Dobbs and Emily Jones. J and E are both working moms with a combined 35 years in the sports broadcasting world in DFW who felt like there was a "space" missing for moms (and dads!) to talk sports, laugh, and have thoughtful conversations over a glass or two of wine. Think “real-life stuff with no fluff."
In addition to Julie and Emily's candid and often wheels off conversations, the moms welcome a wide range of guests to join them on the show…Adrian Beltre, Mike Modano, Ian Kinsler, and Tyler Seguin, but also, Emily's Pastor, a parenting expert, a life coach, former "Bachelor" Sean Lowe, and even their very own moms!
Julie and Emily are excited to keep the fun going weekly on the show while creating "The Mom Game" brand. Whether you are a company looking to align with the right audience, a sports fan, a parent, or allor none of the above, we think you'll like it here. Now you can come along with us on this journey through life.
And if you need an extra drink or accidentally let an f-bomb fly while you're here, so be it. Even better.
In addition to Mom Gaming so hard with Julie Dobbs,
Emily Jones is the field reporter for the majority of the Bally Sports Southwest’s home telecasts and a select number of road broadcasts. Prior to joining the Rangers, Jones worked full-time for FOX Sports Southwest on a variety of the network’s programming from August 2004 through October 2013. She previously was a news reporter and sports director
at KCBD-TV in Lubbock. She graduated magna cum laude from Texas Tech University in 1998 with a degree in
broadcast journalism and a minor emphasis in Spanish.
Jones has also authored two children’s books.
A Place For Everyone and Something Special In The Stands.
Emily and her husband Mike have two children,
Henry and Hattie and reside in Fort Worth.
Julie Dobbs is a radio personality on KTCK The Ticket in
Dallas and a former sideline reporter who spent most of her
TV days on Fox Sports Southwest covering the Dallas Stars. That's where she met her Canadian husband, Kelly, and they have two kids- Ryder and Anna. She is also a stepmom to a sweetheart named Isaac!
Julie is excited to put all of her experience in TV, radio, wearing clothes, buying gifts, and momming together
to bring you The Mom Game, LLC with her longtime
friend and colleague Emily Jones!
